Diganth, mostly known for his romantic roles, undergoes a transformation for his character in his upcoming film Marigold. The film, directed by Raghvendra Naik, is set to hit theatres on April 5, along with a slew of other projects. Ahead of the release, the makers of the film unveiled its trailer.

According to the trailer, Marigold follows the story of four young individuals venturing into the world of treasure hunting.

Producer Raghuvardhan, speaking on the sidelines of the trailer launch, mentioned that Marigold promises to be an action-packed thriller. It is shot extensively in Bengaluru and Sakleshpur. Speaking about his experience working for the film, Diganth expressed his satisfaction with the challenging yet rewarding journey that he undergoes in it. He highlighted the collaborative effort and appreciated the producers for providing opportunities for new talents.

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 contestant and 777 Charlie actor Sangeetha Sringeri, who plays the female lead in Marigold, reminisced about her crush on Diganth during her school days and expressed her joy at finally working alongside the actor. She also shared her aspiration to act in a love story but found delight in starring in an action-packed film alongside Diganth.

With cinematography by KS Chandrashekar and Raghu Niduvalli as the dialogue writer, the film has a lineup of actors that also includes
Yash Shetty, Sudheer, and Sampath Maitreya portraying pivotal characters.
