Actor Vijay Raghavendra and director PC Shekhar are teaming up for a new project centred on the life of a farmer. While the film’s title is yet to be announced, the director promises that the story will be both touching and inspiring.

This marks the first collaboration between Vijay Raghavendra and PC Shekhar. Known for films like Romeo and Raaga, Shekhar is exploring a new subject with this film. Prakash Siddappa is producing the film under the Akasha Pictures banner.

Discussing the project, Shekhar shared that the theme of farming is particularly meaningful to him and expressed excitement about working on this film due to its connection with Alliance University, where he was a student. The film is set to begin shooting soon, with more details about the cast and crew to be revealed in the coming weeks.

"Directing under the Akasha Pictures banner, which supports Alliance University's filmmaking students, is a fantastic opportunity. I’m thankful to Prakash for this chance, and it feels like a special mentor-student relationship," Shekhar said.

The film will be set primarily in a village, focusing on the crucial role of farmers and their relationship with the community. Shekhar, who wrote the story and screenplay, created the project with Vijay Raghavendra in mind. "This film is close to my heart and represents a new direction in my career. I’m thrilled that Vijay liked the story and agreed to be a part of it," he added.

Vijay Raghavendra also expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I was delighted when PC Shekhar shared the story with me. I’m grateful to both the director and producer for casting me in this role about a farmer’s life. This will be my first film with PC Shekhar, and I’m looking forward to this new adventure."
