After breaking the news of actor Pramod being part of Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, it is time for yet another exclusive update. Actor Saurav Lokesh, popularly known as Bhajarangi Loki, has joined the cast of the Prabhas starrer, which also features Prithviraj, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy among others.

Salaar was recently in the news for being filmed in one of the posh locations of Bengaluru. However, it is said that Prabhas was not part of the shoot, which had Loki joining the sets. An official confirmation is expected from the team soon.

Loki has predominantly worked in Kannada films and was last seen in Shivarajkumar’s Bhajarangi 2. He has also made a foray into Tollywood with movies like Acharya, Nachindi Girl Friendu, and Ghoda.

Salaar, backed by Vijay Kiragandur, is Hombale Films’ next pan-Indian project. With cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, the action-thriller will have music by Ravi Basrur. The film is expected to hit theatres on September 28.
