Brinda Acharya, who gained limelight with her role in Premam Poojyam, and was last seen in Juliet 2, has signed another interesting project.

Titled Reetu, the film is written, directed, and produced by Dr Gowri Shree. Reetu stars Brinda in the titular role and is Gowri Shree’s third film after Janarakshaka and Amulya. The film went on floors on Tuesday. “Reetu, which means seasons, is based on a true story from Mandya.  I play a bubbly, independent girl whose life undergoes twists and turns after her marriage,” says Brinda, who expresses her elation in working with a woman director.

Apart from Brinda, Reetu stars Aryan, Surendra, Shobhraj, Nagendra Urs, Laya Kokila, Aradhya, and Tejeswini in crucial roles.
