Buddha, the upcoming Kannada film starring debutant Mahesh Babu and Telugu actor Vidya Raj, has wrapped up shooting. The film is currently in post-production stages.

Written and directed by Pradeep BS, the makers promise it to be a unique story while sharing the first look poster. “Unlike other films where the hero is in search of a missing person, Buddha focuses on the missing protagonist, making for a refreshing and intriguing plot. The underlying theme of the film is the value of staying true to oneself, even as we face many losses and challenges,” says Mahesh.

Produced by Varthan Pictures banner, the film cast includes Tamil actor Prabhu in a pivotal role and CK Ramakrishna as the antagonist. The music is scored by Raghavendra V, while DOP, Naga Shetty has shot the film.
