While Sriimurali’s Bagheera teaser was released on his birthday, an official announcement about the actor’s next project was also made on the occasion. Sriimurali is set to collaborate with first-time filmmaker Halesh Kogundi, and the project has been titled Paraak.

The makers unveiled an interesting poster depicting the actor with wings, portraying two facets of the character, symbolising both an angel and a demon. Speaking to CE, Halesh revealed that the film would be a solid action suspense entertainer.

Engineer-turned-filmmaker Halesh has previously directed short films, two music videos, and Savasa with Shruthi Prakash. “We, a group of engineers from Davangere, are realising our dreams by making a film,” says Halesh.

Backed by Brand Corporate Production Private Ltd, the film is in preparation, and the cast and crew will be finalised before filming in May 2024. “As a newcomer, I appreciate Halesh’s thought process. There’s a spark in him, and I am confident he will do a good job,” says Sriimurali, adding, “I will have more details to reveal once I start working on the project.”
