Debut director Lesia Diak has made a war documentary, Dad's Lullaby, a film about the life of a Ukrainian soldier, Serhiy, and how the war psychologically impacts him, resulting in the breaking of his family. Diak tells Akshay Kumar the history behind the Ukraine-Russia conflict, her personal losses, the mental health issues and other invisible harms due to war, and her message as a Ukrainian to the rest of the world.
