Sisu Trailer: One man death squad goes against the Nazis

The first full-length official trailer for the Finnish/English film Sisu shows us gritty violence and plenty of action. The story takes place during the final days of World War II when a gold hunter, after discovering a gold mine comes after a band of Nazi’s immediately afterwards and has to fight his way to freedom. 

Sisu is written and directed by Finnish filmmaker Jalmari Helander. While the film was released on January 27 in Finland, it is getting a wider International release on April 28. Sisu made its debut at the Midnight Mass section of the Toronto International Film Festival and received generally favourable reviews. 

The cast of the film includes Jorma Tommila, Mimosa Willamo, Paul Anderson, Aksel Hennie, Onni Tommila,  and Jack Doolan. While Lionsgate Pictures holds the North American distribution for the film, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions will distribute the film internationally.
