The band Linkin Park is known for its music in the alternative rock and nu metal genres. The band has legions of fans in India, especially for its songs such as 'Numb', 'What I've Done', 'Somewhere I Belong', and 'In the End', among others.

In fact, 'In the End' is exactly the Linkin Park song that actor Kamal Haasan pinned in his latest Instagram post, thanking the band for endorsing his namesake Khaddar/Khadi brand. Sharing a photograph of the band's members from a concert in India, Kamal posted a note of gratitude, where he wrote, "Linking Khadi to the western world. Thank you. KHHK." The members wore his Khaddar brand's clothes. For the uninitiated, KHHK stands for Kamal Haasan's House of Khaddar brand.

Kamal's note of gratitude comes on the same day in which his singer-actor daughter Shruti Haasan was born. Interestingly, Shruti Haasan has also expressed her admiration for the music band. This is why some netizens humourously suggested under Kamal's latest post that Shruti is handling his Instagram account and made the post out of her admiration for Linkin Park.

On the work front, Kamal is producing a film starring Rajinikanth in the lead role under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner. His upcoming projects also include an action-thriller, which marks the directorial debut of stunt choreographers Anbariv. Raaj Kamal Films International is producing the Anbariv directorial as well. The actor is also expected to reunite with Rajinikanth after three decades on a different film, the specifics of which are still under wraps. A third part in his Indian franchise, directed by Shankar, is also expected to release sometime down the road.

Coming back to Linkin Park, the band was also part of the Lollapalooza India festival.
