Director David F Sandberg is set to direct A Little Slice of Hell, a new horror film. Sandberg is known for directing Shazam! (2019) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2022).
The upcoming film is based on the shot story of the same name, by John Goodrich which was first published in the magazine, Assemble Artifacts. Greg Weidman and Geoff Tock are writing the script, which was earlier written by Oscar nominee Emily V Gordon.
The film will be produced by Johnny Pariseau, Patrick Gooing, Molly Milstein, Jack Heller, Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen, and Lotta Losten. Maximum Effort and Assemble are backing the film.
Two underappreciated employees of a supermarket are left to fend for themselves after they encounter a customer who is from Hell.
Shazam! (2019) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2022) are based on the DC Comics character Shazam, also called Captain Marvel. The films are part of the erstiwhile DC Extended Universe.
