Rappers and songwriters Arivu and Vedan reunited at a recent concert in Bengaluru. The reunion comes months after their collaboration on the single, 'Rekka Rekka', from Mari Selvaraj's Bison Kaalamaadan (2025).

At a concert titled Vanakkam Vanakkam Bangalore, the rappers shared stage with other Tamil rappers like Asal Kolaar, Kelithee, and Dacalty. Malayalam artists like Stic and Gabri, with Kannada rapper Chandan Shetty, shared the stage at the event, which was conducted on April 11.

'Rekka Rekka' is Vedan's first Tamil film song. The single was written by Mari Selvaraj and Arivu. The latter had previously penned and crooned, 'Manna Maamanna' from the director's Maamannan (2023), which had music by AR Rahman.

Arivu's latest film work is on the Jiiva-starrer Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, where he sang the track 'TTT'. Meanwhile, Vedan was featured on 'Bhootha Gaanam' from Nellikkampoyil Night Riders (2025).

The organisers of the Vanakkam Vanakkam Bangalore concert have announced that a similar concert will be held in Chennai.
