Mishty Kadecha, the child actor who has been winning over the audience with her performance in Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate, expressed her gratitude to them with the movie achieving a landmark feat in the Gujarati film industry. Appearing in a video message on Instagram the other day, she greeted the audience and declared with overwhelming elation, “I want to share some exciting news with you. By God's grace and thanks to your support, our movie has minted 100 crore from theatres worldwide and has become the highest-grossing film in Gujarati cinema. Thank you so much for your love.”
For the uninitiated, Mishty stars in the film from director Ankit Sakhiya as Khushi, Laalo (Reeva Rachh) and Tulsi’s (Karan Joshi) daughter. Film buffs consider its success remarkable thanks to the reportedly low budget of 50 lakh. It has already entered the debate around the most profitable film in Indian cinema this year. The film deals with a devotional theme that continues to resonate strongly with the audience, especially families. Earlier this year, Abishan Jeevinth’s Tourist Family, starring Sasikumar and Simran in the lead roles, reportedly became the most profitable film in Indian cinema in 2025. Made on a reported budget of 7 crore, Tourist Family grossed more than 90 crore at the global box office.
