On Saturday, actor Karthi graced the Sempozhil 2025 festival. The festival, which is being held on the YMCA grounds in Nandanam, Chennai, is marketed as a village festival in Chennai.

The festival is being held over four days starting from August 21 to August 24. Thondaimanadalam Foundation and Uzhavan Foundation are the organisers behind the festival. The festival includes an exhibition that sells village-based products. It also includes activities for children and adults.

Karthi was last seen making a cameo appearance in Sailesh Kolanu's HIT: The Third Case, which starred Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prateik Babbar in the lead. The cameo served as a lead in for the next instalment in the series which will be led by Karthi.

The actor also has several films in the pipeline. He will be seen in director Nalan Kumaraswamy's third feature, Vaa Vaathiyaar, which comes after Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum. Karthi will also be seen in PS Mithran's Sardar 2. He will also be seen in Marshall.
