Ashok Selvan and Mirnaa will star together in 'Tharana—18 Miles'. Directed by Sathish Selvakumar, 'Tharana—18 Miles' has music composed by Siddhu Kumar, from lyrics by Vignesh Ramakrishna.

Director Sathish said, “Love is an universal language no doubt, but still borders and international waters become a barrier. I wanted to touch upon a particular international incident of an asylum seeker who seeks a temporary stay solution as a refugee finds a place in the heart of a lawmaker of the ocean." He adds, "The ocean and the shore stay witness to this conflict of human emotions. Love is as beautiful as the ocean, and the depth is as dangerous the deep sea. It hurts, especially In this world where the land is not soil. It's politics. I'm sure who so ever in love across the universe would connect to this script."

The video is shot by Ezhil Arasu K, with editing by Nash, and art direction by M. Devendran. Siddhu has also composed music for films like Sivappu Manjal Pachai, Bachelor, Joe, and Sir.

Ashok Selvan was recently seen alongside Kamal Haasan in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life. He recently joined hands with Nimisha Sajayan for a new film, which is to be directed by Manikandan Anandan. Mirnaa was seen alongside Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan in Nelson's Jailer.
