Shin Chan: Our Dinosaur Diary gets India release date

Besides Japanese, the film will also hit theatres with dubs in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil

The new film adaptation of Yoshito Usui’s manga series Shin Chan, titled Shin Chan: Our Dinosaur Diary, is slated for a May 09 release in Indian theatres, announced PVR INOX Pictures. Besides Japanese, the film will also hit theatres with dubs in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

Sharing a poster for the film, PVR INOX Pictures captioned the release date announcement post, "Dinosaurs have taken over, and only Shin chan can handle the chaos. Are you ready for the dinosaur fever?"

Reportedly, the feature film revolves around Shinnosuke, also known as Shin Chan, and his summer adventure at a Tokyo theme park called Dino’s Island. During the summertime, Shin Chan and his family become friends with dinosaur Nana, whom their dog Shiro discovered. However, dinosaurs get out and go on a wild run across Tokyoand Kasukabe.

Shin Chan has long been among the world's most popular animation series, with over 820 episodes aired in more than 45 nations. The series is available on JioHotstar. There are many films based on it. Besides Our Dinosaur Diary, another adaptation titled Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers is set to storm theatres in India later this year.
