21-year-old Harnaaz Sandhu has won the 70th edition of the Miss Universe pageant. The title was won 21 years ago by Lara Dutta for India.

Hosted by Steve Harvey and held at Eilat, Israel, the pageant is streaming in India exclusively on Voot Select.

While Paraguay’s Nadia Ferreira was the first runner up and South Africa’s Lalena Mswane became the second runner up, Harnaaz was honored with the crown. She joins Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta who previously won the title for India.

Elated with her victory, Harnaaz said, “I am immensely grateful to the Almighty, my parents, and the Miss India Organization for guiding and supporting me throughout. Loads of love to everyone who prayed and wished the crown for me. Bringing the glorious crown back after 21 years to India is a moment of greatest pride.”
