Written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, Jab Khuli Kitaab promises to be a bittersweet comedy-drama, revolving around a family that finds itself in a unique situation — Gopal (Pankaj Kapur) has decided to divorce his wife Anusuya (Dimple Kapadia), after five decades of a marriage, when she reveals a long-buried secret about her life. The twist? Anasuya has just woken up from a coma, and remains critical in her health, and determined in her choice not to divorce Gopal at any cost.
