The makers of upcoming series Raakh released a second trailer for their show. Directed by Prosit Roy, Raakh is set for streaming premiere on Prime Video on June 12.

The trailer begins by establishing the two antagonists who are described in a gruesome, brutal manner, and whose acts kick off the plot. And an investigation that will leave any disturbed minds on its trail. Ali Fazal plays an underdog cop out to catch the two, while Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir play a married couple dealing with devastating loss. 

The official synopsis reads, “Raakh begins with the disappearance and murder of two teenagers in Delhi. Set in 1978, when such brutality was rare and shocking, the series follows the relentless manhunt launched to track down the killers while exploring the disturbing psyche of the men behind the crime.”

Raakh is created by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket, who are also credited as co-directors. Produced by Endemol Shine India and BhaiDiPa, the show features Akash Makhija, Ramandeep Yadav, Divya Sharma, Vivaan Sharma, Anshul Chauhan, Rakesh Bedi, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in the supporting cast.
