The trailer for Dhokha - Round D Corner is out. A suspense thriller, the film is directed by Kookie Gulati (Prince, The Big Bull) and stars R Madhavan, Aparshakti Khurrana and Khushalii Kumar.

The trailer depicts a hostage situation in a posh Mumbai apartment. Haq Gul (Aparshakti), a Kashmiri terrorist, has entered the home of Sanchi Sinha (Khushalli) and is holding her at gunpoint. Sanchi's husband, Yathaarth (R Madhavan), rushes back home but is stopped by the cops, led by Darshan Kumaar. As hostage negotiations begin, we see glimpses from Haq's past (which involves a bombing and a false terror charge). Meanwhile, there are secrets in Sanchi and Yathaarth's lives too. The trailer exudes major Rashomon vibes as we follow the story from multiple perspectives, ending with a scuffle in the couple's drawing room.

Dokha - Round D Corner is written by Kookie Gulati with dialogue and additional screenplay by Neeraj Singh.

"There can be one truth, but there are always different perspectives to it and that’s what ‘Dhokha’ plays on," Khushalii shares. "I was thrilled when I read the script and the film is truly clutter-breaking.”

Kookie Gulati says, “One day can change your life and Dhokha will compel the audience to ponder over what is true and what is false. It will leave you gripped from start to finish.”

R Madhavan shares, “Dhokha is driven by its performances and storytelling. The characters are not simply black or white. There are no good guys or bad guys; every single one of them has something beneath the surface."

Dhokha - Round D Corner releases on September 23 in theatres.
