The trailer of Shilpa Shetty, Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia’s upcoming film Nikamma was released on Tuesday. The film is slated to release on June 17.

Directed by Sabbir Khan of Heropanti fame, Nikamma puts Abhimanyu back in action mode after his debut Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota.

In the trailer, Abhimanyu plays Adi, a slacker who falls in love with Shirley’s character. However, he has to mend his ways when Avni (played by Shilpa Shetty), a superwoman/goddess, descends on Earth and makes him do household chores. Adi transforms into an action hero when a mob boss threatens Avni.

Abhimanyu was last seen in Karan Johar’s Meenakshi Sundareshwar. Shilpa recently featured in Hungama 2 with Paresh Rawal.
