Guilty Minds trailer out: young lawyers, quirky cases

Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of Guilty Minds, the platform's first Indian legal series.

Created and directed by Shefali Bhushan, the show follows the journey of two ambitious young lawyers, played by Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra. Fresh into the job, they tackle a range of cases, from pop music thievery to the legislation of driverless cars.

The series also features Namrata Sheth, Sugandha Garg, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Satish Kaushik, Benjamin Gilani, Virendra Sharma, Diksha Juneja, Pranay Pachauri, Deepak Kalra and Chitrangada Satrupa in pivotal roles.

Karishma Tanna, Shakti Kapoor, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Girish Kulkarni and Saanand Verma have guest turns in the show.

The trailer of Guilty Minds was launched at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in Mumbai. It was accompanied by a panel discussion featuring Lawyers Monica Datta and Ravindra Suryawanshi and moderated by Dr. Paritosh Basu, Senior Professor and Chairman, MBA Law, NMIMS.

“Amazon Original Guilty Minds is our first legal drama and an exciting new addition to our library,” said Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals, Amazon Prime Video. “The series is our first collaboration with creator and director, Shefali Bhushan, who has presented an authentic and realistic portrayal of Indian courts through a variety of relatable cases."

Guilty Minds streams on Amazon Prime Video from April 22.
