As reported by us recently, the hit Disney+Hotstar show Special Ops is getting a prequel. Titled Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, the series has Kay Kay Menon reprising the lead character Himmat Singh.

A 2.14-minute long trailer has been released. It follows Himmat Singh's journey as a young RAW agent. The origin story goes back to 2001 and explores the formative years of Himmat Singh and how he uses his wit and intelligence for a high-impact operation.

Aftab Shivdasani, Aadil Khan has joined the cast in this series, alongside Gautami Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Parmeet Sethi, and KP Mukherjee. Kay Kay Menon and Aftab Shivdasani's characters are working together as partners on a case in this series.

From the trailer, it is evident that the series has plenty of action in it. Some portions have been shot in foreign locations also.

Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story is scheduled to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on November 12.
