The hit Malayalam film Ezra is getting remade in Hindi as Dybbuk. Emraan Hashmi plays the lead role in the film, which is set to premiere in Amazon Prime Video on October 29. The makers have announced that the trailer will be out on Wednesday.

Dybbuk is directed by Jay K, who helmed Ezra as well. The original had Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priya Anand in the lead roles. It is a supernatural horror-thriller with an intriguing concept that explores the history of Jewish culture in Kerala.

In the remake, Emraan Hashmi reprises the role played by Prithviraj and the female lead's part is played by Nikita Dutta. Manav Kaul also plays an important role in it.
