Wamiqa Gabbi revealed on Friday that she has taken part in an episode of the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The actor shared a small clip from her upcoming KBC episode where she can be seen interacting with Amitabh Bachchan, with Rajkummar Rao standing nearby. As the caption for the post, Wamiqa shared an emotional note where she expressed her nostalgic feelings for attending a show hosted by one of the biggest superstars of Indian cinema.

"KBC takes me straight back home… to being a little girl, sitting with my family, with absolutely no idea where life was going to take me. And then one day, I was sitting on that chair," Wamiqa Gabbi wrote.

Wamiqa also shared that it took her some time for the emotion to sink in. "It didn’t fully hit me until Amitabh Bachchan sir sat down in front of me… and I looked over at my family in the audience. And suddenly, I saw it.
Us then… sitting together in front of the TV. Us now… somehow inside it," the actor added.

She also spoke about the significance of the moment from a personal standpoint. "That little distance between the sofa at home and the KBC hot seat suddenly felt like an entire lifetime," the actor wrote before adding that her "fellow middle-class families" might understand these feelings of hers more than others.

"Yeh baat mere fellow middle-class families shayad sabse zyada samajh paayenge… kuch moments sirf aapke nahi hote…… poore parivaar ke hote hain. That day, there was one person on the hot seat… but it felt like my whole family was sitting there with me. Life… you are so unpredictable. And so beautiful," the actor signed off.

The Kaun Banega Crorepati episode featuring Wamiqa Gabbi is set to be broadcast at 9:00 pm on Friday on Sony's television channel and streaming service.
