On Monday, Hanuman Ansh, the sleeper hit of the year, added yet another feat to its list of box office accomplishments. The devotional drama crossed the worldwide collections of Akshay Kumar starrer Bhooth Bangla.
According to Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla had collected Rs 270.91 at global box office, and Hanuman Ansh stormed way these figures on Monday. Hanuman Ansh is now the 3rd highest grossing Hindi film of 2026 worldwide, only behind Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2. However, considering the film’s growing occupancies with each week, the chances are high. Earlier on its sixth weekend, the film had garnered Rs 51.50 crore nett, setting a new record for highest 6th weekend figures, which was previously held by Dhurandhar 2. Hanuman Ansh’s current domestic box office collections stand at Rs 218.59 crore nett.
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film is based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, more popularly known as Maharaj ji. Reportedly made on a small budget of Rs 2 crores, the film released in domestic theatres on August 7.
Produced by Swambhu Media Network, Ragini S, Namrata G S, and Anupriya A Nagar, Hanuman Ansh features Chandan Anand and Shobhinav Satyaa in the lead cast, and actors like Nikhil Dubey, Udaysinh Rajput, Purnima Tiwari, and Mannish Chaudhary in the ensemble.
