The makers of Ramayana: Part 1 have shared a statement, which highlights the use of legal action against unauthorised recording of the film. The notice comes after clips from the film featuring Yash and other actors spread through social media.

The statement mentioned an order, passed by the Bombay High Court dated November 2, 2026, and November 6, 2026, which prevents any person from recording, uploading, sharing, or communicating by any form, unauthorised clips from the film.

The makers also mentioned that legal action will be taken against offenders, without any notice.

Ramayana: Part 1 is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Shridhar Raghavan has adapted Valmiki's epic for his screenplay. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi lead the cast of the film as Rama, Ravana, and Sita, respectively.

CE's review of the film reads, "With impressive VFX-driven set pieces that draw you in, Ramayana: Part 1 keeps its focus on spectacle rather than drama."
