On Thursday, Saqib Saleem unveils the intriguing first motion poster of his next film production, titled Baby Do Die Do, also announcing the release date for the film. Backed under the Saqeeb Siblings banner, the film will arrive in theatres on July 3.
While the poster doesn’t feature any actor, the imagery is intriguing — that of a darkly lit vacant local train compartment, as it rains heavily, brimming with silence and pregnant possibilities. The tagline reads, ‘India’s first desi hitwoman.’ The motion poster is also underlined with a haunting whistle that promises an element of crime caper in the narrative. Directed by Nachikent Samant, the film is being produced in association with Pune 04 Picture.
Speaking about the film, Saqib said, “With Baby Do Die Do, we wanted to create a world that feels slick, unpredictable and deeply immersive. We’re excited for audiences to step into this world with us.”
Director Nachiket added, “The idea was to build a film that constantly keeps you guessing. From the very first glimpse, we wanted the mystery of Baby Do Die Do to draw audiences in and we hope they enjoy it.”
Nachikent previously directed Huma Qureshi starrer Single Salma, which too had Saqib onboard as one of the producers.
As an actor, Saqib was recently seen in the long-form series Kaptaan, that’s now streaming on MX Player.
