After walking the Cannes red carpet on Tuesday as the brand ambassador of L'Oréal Paris, Alia Bhatt returned to the occasion with another unique look, this time bringing along a soft princess aesthetic with her ensemble.

Attending the screening of Vie D’une Femme (A Woman’s Life), Alia donned a custom Danielle Frankel soft blue ensemble, blending contemporary couture with an old-school sensibility. Alia’s ensemble featured a tender bustier bodice with spaghetti straps, with the silhouetted upper half merging in a beautiful contrast with the pleated skirt, perfectly capturing the dreamy princess-like aura of the outfit. 

What gave the ensemble a distinct edge is its use of sculptural silhouette, and a crinkled, intricate textures, a rare choice made for red carpet appearances. 

As part of her accessories, Alia woke a delicate lace choker with a teardrop diamond pendant and mismatched diamond drop earrings. The choker added a touch of Victorian grace to the outfit.  Alia was styled by celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor. 

On Tuesday, after walked the prestigious red carpet, Alia also attended the Bharat Pavilion, donning a traditional look with an ivory corset saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani.
