The official trailer of the upcoming OTT series Vimal Khanna was unveiled on Tuesday. The series, which is based on the works of eminent detective fiction author Surendra Mohan Pathak, will be available for streaming on Amazon MX Player, starting from May 15. 

Sunny Hinduja will be seen in the titular role in the series, playing a drifter who takes a caretaker’s job at a wealthy seaside villa to escape wrongful murder charges. The official synopsis further reads, “However, Vimal finds himself trapped in the psychological web of Amrita Dass (Isha Talwar), an elegant, manipulative heiress with secrets buried behind charm. As he cares for her paralyzed husband, Nishant (Akshay Anand), Vimal slowly realizes that every person in the house — Martha, Alice, and even Raushan — has a motive to see Nishant dead, each hiding private debts, fears, and desires. Vimal’s main motive is to unravel this conspiracy.”

Directed by Saket Chaudhary and Abhinav Pareek, Vimal Khanna also features Tara Alisha Berry, who plays the investigating cop hunting for Vimal aka Surendra. The ensemble cast includes Piloo Vidyarthi, Palle Singh, Mahir Pandhi, Surjyashikha Das and Shakti Singh in the ensemble cast. Surendra Mohan Pathak is also on board as a producer in association with Udeept Dutt Gaur, backing the project under NMKH Productions.  

Sunny Hinduja was recently seen in the third season of Aspirants, which began streaming on Prime Video on March 13.
