Shah Rukh Khan starrer King, which also stars Suhana Khan in a prominent role, remains one of the most awaited Hindi films of 2025. Slated for theatrical release in December, the shoot has been going at a smooth place. However, the recent tensions in West Asia have caused a dampener in the proceedings, compelling the makers to cancel a major action sequence shoot in Dubai, which was scheduled to be shot in April.

According to reports, the King makers will now be shooting the said sequence in a studio in Mumbai, replicating the visual palette of the desert landscape. Suhana and Anil Kapoor are the key actors who will be shooting the action sequence.

Initially helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, King marks the second collaboration between Shah Rukh and Siddharth after the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan. The title of the film was official revealed in November last year, on Shah Rukh’s birthday.

Besides Shah Rukh, Anil, and Suhana, King features many prominent actors in the primary cast including Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, Abhay Verma, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, Akshay Oberoi and Arshad Warsi. Abhishek Bachchan will be seen playing the main antagonist.
