Dhurandhar: The Revenge crosses Rs 500 crore at worldwide box office on Day 3

The total domestic gross collection for the Aditya Dhar directorial is at Rs 404.54 crore

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is creating havoc at the box office. The Aditya Dhar directorial, headlined by Ranveer Singh, made Rs 113 crore (nett) in India across 20,917 shows on Day 3 (Saturday), a 40 per cent up from the previous day collection of Rs 80.72 crore. After opening at Rs 102.55 crore on Thursday, the patriotic spy-actioner witnessed a drop in collections of about 21 per cent and made Rs 80.72 crore on Friday, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.com.

The total India net collections of the film currently stand at Rs 339.27 crore (including paid previews of Rs 43 crore). The total domestic gross collection is at Rs 404.54 crore. Overseas, the film has grossed a total of Rs 96.50 crore, pushing its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 501.04 crore.

Most of the film’s domestic collections on Day 3 came from its Hindi version at Rs 105 crore, followed by Telugu at Rs 5 crore and Tamil at Rs 2.95 crore. The Malayalam and Kannada versions were negligible at Rs 4 lakh and Rs 1 lakh, respectively.

On Day 3, the Dhurandhar 2’s had an impressive occupancy of 79.73 per cent, out of which most was for night shows since it was a weekend (91.08 per cent), followed by evening (84.08 per cent), afternoon (82.62 per cent) and morning shows at 61.15 per cent.

When it comes to regions, the National Capital Region (NCR) had most number of shows at 1,722 and the highest occupancy of 89.3 per cent. This was followed by Mumbai with 1,411 shows at 81.5 per cent occupancy and Ahmedabad with 963 shows and an occupancy rate of 71.3 per cent.

Dhurandhar 2 also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.
