Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as the biggest Hindi opener of all time. The film made Rs 102.5 crore on its release, out of which Rs 99.10 crore was via its original Hindi version, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.com. Before this, the biggest opener in Hindi language was the Telugu film Pushpa: The Rule, which made Rs 70.30 crore via its Hindi version on release day.
It is the second highest Indian opener after Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 which made Rs 164.25 crore across all languages.
Dhurandhar 2 made Rs 43 crore in its paid previews and thus has so far earned Rs 145.55 crore net in India. Before Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the highest preview day earner film was Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG, which made Rs 25 crore on preview day. As per early estimates, its worldwide collection stands at Rs 236.63 crore. The top spot here also is held by Pushpa 2, which made Rs 275.2 crore on its opening day.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.
