After slight delays and initial glitches, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the sequel to Aditya Dhar-Ranveer Singh's blockbuster hit Dhurandhar has taken off at theatres worldwide. Following the massive response to its paid premiere shows, the action film has been receiving overwhelmingly positive responses all corners with several noted celebrities registering their plaudits for the movie online.
Allu Arjun called Dhurandhar: The Revenge an Indian story with "international swag" that "will make every patriot proud" and heaped praise on Ranveer Singh, Madhavan and Aditya Dhar. He also called the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani a "versatile actor". "So proud to have a brilliant and a versatile actor like my brother Ranveer Singh in our country. RVS on fire," he wrote.
Similarly, Vijay Devarakonda shared his one-liners on the filmmaker, lead actor and supporting cast members. Calling Aditya Dhar a "mad genius" and Ranveer Singh's role "explosive", he underlined that the film is going to make massive impact on Indian cinema and culture. "4 words. 'Bharat Maata ki JAI!'. Immense love and respect to the entire cast and crew," he added, also praising Madhavan and Arjun Rampal's role, along with Shashwat Sachdev's musical score for the film.
Replying to Allu Arjun's words, Madhavan replied that he was "humbled", "touched" and "hyper motivated." With Dhurandhar: The Revenge officially expanding to theatres worldwide from Thursday, the reviews are expected to flow in from other celebrities as well. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, it serves as a direct sequel to Dhurandhar, which broke several records at the box office, earning over Rs 1,000 crore worldwide within three weeks of release. The latest film is expected to cross the Rs 150 crore mark in pre-sales alone, hence registering its place as the biggest Hindi film opener ever.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge also stars Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera.
