The teaser of Akshay Kumar-headliner horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla has been released. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film reunites the comedy ensemble of Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and the late Asrani. It also features Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Manoj Joshi, Jisshu Sengupta, Mithila Palkar and Rajesh Sharma.

The teaser takes us into the same Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) haveli but this time it is not haunted by Manjulika but a demon called ‘vadhusur’. Akshay seems to be a buyer who has come to purchase the mansion. We get a blink-and-miss glimpses of Paresh, Rajpal, Tabu and late Asrani, giving a nostalgic trip into Priyadarshan’s comic world. New entrants like Wamiqa, Mithila, Rajesh and Jisshu are also seen.

For Bhooth Bangla, Akshay and Priyadarshan are reuniting after 16 years — they last worked together in the 2010 comedy-drama Khatta Meetha. Additionally, the actor-director have two other collaborations in the pipeline — Hera Pheri 3 and Haiwaan, with the latter also starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead. 

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor & Akshay Kumar, Bhooth Bangla is scheduled to release in theatres on April 10.
