The trailer of Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer romantic-drama Ek Din was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. Directed by Sunil Pandey, the film also features Kunal Kapoor and marks the Hindi film debut for Sai.

The trailer opens with Junaid’s character, an innocent, awkward boy, standing in front of a ‘wishing bell’. He asks for the love of his life, Meera (Sai Pallavi), to fall in love with him even for just a day. His wish is soon granted and we see them having a day out in a city covered in white snow. But soon the spell would break and the couple would have to face real life. There is also a nice contrast between the two characters. While Junaid comes across as an endearingly awkward boy, bringing innocence and vulnerability to his role, Sai appears confident, composed and self-assured.

Earlier, a teaser and the title track of the film, sung by Arijit Singh’s and recorded in his hometown Murshidabad, was released by the makers.

Ek Din has been produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit. It is set to release in theatres on May 1, 2026.
