Salman Khan to play a retired superhero in a Raj-DK film?

There have been rumours doing the rounds since a long time, of notable creator duo Raj-DK planning a project with Salman Khan. Reportedly, the project is now officially going ahead.

According to reports, The Family Man creators have approached Salman Khan for an action-comedy, where the actor will be seen playing the role of a retired superhero, who is compelled time and again by external circumstances to put aside his retirement plans and fight the evil and injustice of the world. 

Reportedly, Raj-DK will give a detailed narration to Salman a few weeks from now, and that the makers are planning to go on the floors in November this year. The same reports also state that reputed Telugu production banner Mythri Movie Makers and Reel Life Entertainment are on board for the project. 

Raj-DK, who rose to limelight with the 2011 film Shor in The City, have since created some of the most popular OTT shows in Indian landscape like The Family Man, Farzi, and Guns & Gulaabs. They were also the writer-producer for the landmark 2018 horror-comedy Stree.

Salman Khan, who was last seen in Sikandar, has a major released lined up this year with Battle of Galwan.
