Anil Kapoor and Akshay Kumar are known for their collaborations on some of Hindi cinema's hilarious comedies. For example, they shared the screen in director Anees Bazmee's madcap comedy Welcome (2007). Its 2015 sequel Welcome Back did not feature Akshay. And while the third part, Welcome To The Jungle, does not have Anil, the actor recently expressed his interest in collaborating with Akshay on a fourth instalment in the popular comedy franchise.

Anil appeared in the recent Holi special episode of Akshay's show Wheel of Fortune alongside his film Subedaar's co-stars Radhikka Madan and Saurabh Shukla. During the episode, an audience member told Anil and Akshay that he is an admirer of both actors and their film Welcome. Anil told the fan that he still has the quirky 'horse and donkey painting' made by his character Majnu Bhai in the 2007 film.

Anil then revealed that he would like to be part of a fourth chapter in the franchise. "Aur Welcome 4 hum fir saath mein karenge (Then, we will do Welcome 4 together)," the actor said, teasing a potential collaboration with Akshay.

While Anil acknowledged the fact that people have made fun of his character's painting in the 2007 movie, he said that there is also a story and a philosophy behind it. "Aap log iska mazaak uda dete ho, memes bana ke, aur log sochte hain, kaisi painting hai (You guys make fun of it, make memes out of it, and people wonder what kind of painting it even is," he quipped. Then, he said that the horse and donkey form a juxtaposition, symbolising how they work in opposite ways. The horse is fast, active and hard working, while the donkey is not like that.

When the fan revealed that even T-shirts are also available with the so-called Majnu Bhai painting, Anil's Subedaar co-star Radhikka Madan said that she also has one. Meanwhile, Anil said that even he earns profit from the T-shirts.
