On Wednesday, Yash Raj Films dropped the official trailer of their much-anticipated project Alpha, which stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead. The film also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. 

In Alpha, Alia Bhatt plays Sita, a ferocious assassin who has been trained by her mentor and father-figure (Bobby Deol) since her childhood, with an aim to serve the nation once grown up and be part of the Alpha program. The trailer also introduces Sharvari's character, an equally fierce ally to Sita, and Anil Kapoor's character, who is connected to the Alpha program. However, there could be many more murky layers to the intentions of Sita’s mentor — now, it is up to the two warrior girls to stop the vengeful mentor. 

The trailer is underlined with a reprise of popular global chartbuster Jamaican Bam Bam (by DJ Hugel), which adds to the overall adrenaline energy. Packed with high-octane action and slick visuals with a promise of a super fun, thrilling ride, Alpha promises to be a true-blue entertainer that celebrates the power of its two protagonists.

The Alpha trailer also teased a brief glimpse of Hrithik Roshan, reportedly reprising his role from the War franchise. 

Directed by Shiv Rawail and written by Soumil Shukla and Sridhar Raghavan, the Alia Bhatt-Sharvari starrer is set to release worldwide, exclusively in cinemas, on July 3, 2026.
