Vir Das-headliner Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos is faring decently at the box office. The Aamir Khan production, also featuring Mona Singh, made Rs 1.5 crore net on the second day of its release.

The film opened at Rs 1.25 crore on Friday and its total net collection now stands at Rs 2.75 crore.

In Happy Patel Vir plays a Britain-brought up Indian-origin spy who is assigned a mission in Goa. In the process, he has to face-off with Mama (Mona), the local donna.

The film also features Sharib Hashmi and Mithila Palkar in pivotal roles.

Happy Patel has been directed by Vir along with Kavi Shastri. The standup-comedian and actor has also written the film with Amogh Randive.
