Nikita Roy, the Sonakshi Sinha starrer supernatural thriller, finally has an OTT premiere date. The supernatural thriller which also stars Arjun Rampal in a prominent role will begin streaming on Monday, January 12 on JioHotstar.
Directed by Kussh S Sinha and written by Pavan Kirpalan, Nikita Roy revolves around Sonakshi’s character who discovers supernatural forces at a mysterious house, and vows to unravel the mystery behind it. Nikita Roy also starred Paresh Rawal as a godman who claims to have an uncanny ability to control people psychologically. Suhail Nayyar too appeared in a prominent role.
The film was produced by Nickky Bhagnani and Viicky Bhagnani. Meanwhile, Anand Mehta, Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaaz Shaikh, and Prem Raj Joshi served as co-producers.
Nikita Roy found no takers at the box office when it released on July 18, largely owing to its clash with the musical blockbuster Saiyaraa that left no other theatrical releases of that week to make a mark.
Sonakshi was last seen in Jatadhara, incidentally another supernatural thriller which was mounted as a Telugu-Hindi bilingual release.
