Siddhant Chaturvedi debunked rumours of a remake of the 2019 Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika Mandanna-starrer, Dear Comrade

Siddhant Chaturvedi took to social media to debunk rumours of working on a Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu film, Dear Comrade. Directed by Bharat Kamma, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna led the Telugu action drama.

Sharing a post which speaks about the rumour, through an Instagram story through his handle, the actor wrote, "This isn't true. No remakes for me anymore, even though I am a fan of the original film and actors, much love and respect. Thank you!"

The rumours mentioned that he will be acting alongside Pratibha Ranta, who made her breakthrough with Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies. Siddhant expressed interest in working with her in the future on an original story.

Meanwhile Siddhant is currently working on a biopic based on V Shantaram, a filmmaker in 1950s India, known for using film as a medium for social change.
