Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi made a surprise move on April 29, his birthday. Taking to his Instagram Stories, the actor released his new independent song, titled 'Rehna,' on the special day for him. "Penned this one a while back, was waiting for the right time to drop it. Give it a listen," the actor wrote in the post. The song was announced a few years back through social media.

'Rehna' is a soulful and soothing melody, sung by Devansh Bhatia based on his Siddhant's lyrics and Devansh's own composition. Dropping the song on social media, Siddhant described it as a piece of "happy melody" and "a plea to future partners, asking them to stay along." The actor also said that he used his travelling experiences to create the backdrop for the song.

This is not Siddhant Chaturvedi's first song. The actor has written lyrics for songs such as 'Ittefaq' and 'Dhoop,' the latter of which he also sang based on DAWgeek's composition. For the uninitiated, Devansh Bhatia is a songwriter, composer, DJ and record producer who is also known as DAWgeek. Furthermore, Siddhant has written the rap portions to immerse himself into his role in Gully Boy, although professional rappers wrote the lyrics for the songs used in the film.

On the film front, Siddhant was most recently seen in Do Deewane Seher Mein. His upcoming projects include the long-delayed Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling and a film based on director V Shantaram.
