The superstar said, "I want to talk to you about a recent incident that happened with my daughter. She was spending time online playing a video game at home. You can play certain games on the internet with someone you do not even know. The person she played with asked her where she is from, and she said 'Mumbai'. Everything seemed normal, and the other user even complimented her gaming."

The actor added, "Then, she received a message asking her to confirm her sex. When she confirmed that she is a female, the person asked for her nude pictures. She turned it off and told about it to my wife (Twinkle Khanna). I am grateful that she did so because this is how such things start."

Akshay Kumar was only trying to caution others against such online interactions, which lead to financial extortion and many other dangerous situations. However, his revelation made the Cyber Cell start an investigation into the incident. They could identify the perpetrator and make the first arrest in the case with the help of digital tracking and technical analysis.

Law enforcement is interrogating the man who tried to extort Akshay Kumar's daughter, according to latest reports, to confirm whether he has done something similar in the past.
