The official trailer of upcoming Netflix series Glory was unveiled at a grand ceremony on Friday evening. The entire cast and crew of the series, sans Surinder Vicky, was present at the event.

Created by Karan Anshuman and Karmanya Ahuja, Glory promises to be a rustic sports drama with a heavy element of crime thriller embedded in it.  Suvinder Vicky plays Raghubir Singh, a a formidable boxing coach driven by an obsession with Olympic glory, struggles to hold together a legacy that is slowly unraveling under the weight of strained relationships. His sons Dev (Divyenndu) and Ravi (Pulkit Samrat) return to Shaktigarh to uncover the truth behind the brutal assault on their sister Gudiya (Jannat Zubair) and the mysterious death of a rising Olympic boxing star — Nihal Singh.

Tanya Bami, Director, Series, Netflix India, said, “With Glory, we set out to do something truly first-of-its-kind: a sports crime thriller that asks what ambition, legacy, truth and revenge really mean when they collide at the highest stakes. Glory goes far beyond the conventional sports drama, layering intense emotion with a suspense-driven core that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats." Karan Anshuman, who is also the co-writer, co-director and producer for the show, said, “At its heart, Glory is about the pursuit of Olympic gold — the most exalted idea of physical achievement — and the darkness that can gather around that dream.”

The series also has on board Kanishk Varma as co-director, and Karmanya and Vaibhav Vishal as co-writers. Produced under the Atomic Films banner, Glory premieres on Netflix on May 1.
