Netflix to unveil trailer for Kurukshetra on this date

Kurukshetra is an animated series from Netflix, based on the war fought between the Pandavas and Kauravas, from the Mahabharatha

Netflix revealed that the trailer for its upcoming animated series, Kurukshetra, will release on October 1. The upcoming series is set to premiere on the streamer on October 10.

Kurukshetra is conceptualised and created by Anu Sikka. Sikka also produces the series along with Alok Jain and Ajith Andhare. Hi-Tech Animation is the studio handling the animation for the series. Lyrics for the series are written by famed lyricist Gulzar.

Named after the battlefield on which the war between the Pandavas and their allies, and the Kauravas and their allies, were fought, Kurukshetra is set to consist of 18 episodes, for the 18 days of the war. The episodes are set to be released in two parts.

Kurukshetra is one of the few mythological projects that is being made in an animated format. Earlier, Mahavatar Narasimha, based on the story of Varaha Avatar and Narasimha Avatar was released recently.
