Bobby Deol opened up recently about working with Aryan Khan in the web-series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Bobby said that Aryan has went through a lot which no child should go through and even said that he wishes to have as much fire as Aryan.

During a conversation with Raj Shamani, Bobby was asked if he sees any similarities between him and Aryan. He said yes and added, “I wish I had the same fire that he has now. I started out with a lot of fire, but things got delayed for me a lot. Otherwise, he’s very talented. I don’t know if I was that talented. He has a persona that attracts you. There’s something attractive about him. He’s been through a lot more than I have, which no child should go through.”

Bobby said that he became part of the series as he wanted to support Aryan. “I am from the same industry. I have two boys who want to get into this industry. And if my own industry people aren’t there for me, where will I go? It’s a fear I have. You need each other. Shah Rukh is amazing as a person. He’s so respectful, he makes you feel so special. These are qualities that my dad had, and my dad is a legend. These are qualities I’ve seen in Shah Rukh.”

The actor recalled meeting Aryan at a party and chatting for thirty minutes. “Aryan insisted on narrating the whole story to me. I sat with him for seven hours. I was just taken in by his conviction. A few months ago, I met him at a party, and he was standing by himself. I went up to him and chatted for half-an-hour. There was something special about him. He looks intense, but there’s something about his intensity, and his eyes. When I met him, and I heard him, I was amazed. I was lucky being a part of this,” Bobby said.

Aryan has created and directed the series, which also stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and Anya Singh pivotal roles. It was released on Netflix on September 18.
