Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra took to social media to shower Jolly LLB 3 with praise. Describing it as "a very brave film about our times," Sudhir said, "it takes guts and skill to take issues throbbing within our society and then turn them into a popular tale." The film talks about socially relevant issues such as farmer's plight, land acquisition, and the imbalance in power between the rich and the marginalised. In our review of the film, Kartik Bhardwaj wrote, "The third outing in the franchise might be the most urgent and also questioning amidst a sea of either neutral or prostrating mainstream films," while summarising that it "oscillates between eliciting giggles and raising questions."

The third part in the Jolly LLB franchise that hails from director Subhash Kapoor stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao and Huma Qureshi, among others. In his post, Sudhir hailed the performances from all the cast members in the film, who he says "are in rhythm and sync as they play their characters". He then gave a shout out to director Subhash as well as actors Akshay, Arshad and Huma.

As of today, Jolly LLB 3 has minted more than ₹50 crore from theatres around the world, according to reports. The film has opened to mostly positive reviews from critics.

For the uninitiated, Sudhir Mishra is best known for his films with socially relevant themes that he has written and/or directed. His best known works include critically acclaimed films such as Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Chameli, and Khamosh. For example, the classic film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, starring Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Baswani, and Om Puri, among others, talks about corruption in multiple industries, bureaucratic inefficiency, and so forth. It still remains one of Hindi cinema's landmark films.
