Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan have been acting in Hindi cinema for over three decades now. However, the trio are yet to do a film together. Aamir recently acknowledged this in an interview with Game Changers with Komal Nahta. "Salman and Shah Rukh have worked together, Salman and I have collaborated, too, but the three of us have not. But I think we are more ready for it than we were earlier. And if a good story comes with good roles for three of us and if we all like it, we will definitely do it," said Aamir. "There is no other problem," he emphasised.
When asked how likely it is for all of them to like such a story, Aamir said that there is a "50-50 chance" for it. He also acknowledged that audiences want to see the three of them together in a film. "That's an emotion we identify with, Shah Rukh, Salman and I. All three will respect the emotions of the audince," said Aamir.
Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman have rejected offers, where one of them were the first choice for the roles. These films eventually became big hits with one of the other two, such as with Chak De India! which Salman rejected, Swades which Aamir turned down, and Lagaan which Shah Rukh said no to.
Aamir has been an active part of films and web series of late, thanks to cameos in Coolie and The Ba***ds of Bollywood as well as a key role in Sitaare Zameen Par. It is rare for the actor to do back to back films. He usually takes major breaks between projects, a bit like Shah Rukh.
It has been almost two years since Shah Rukh's last release, Dunki. His upcoming films include the actioner King, co-starring Deepika Padukone and directed by Siddharth Anand. On the other hand, Salman's upcoming films include 7 Dogs, where he plays a cameo role, and Battle of Galwan.
