The trailer of actor Bhuvan Arora’s upcoming crime-thriller series Janaawar – The Beast Within was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. Directed by Shachindra Vats, Jaanawar also stars Bhagwan Tiwari, Atul Kale, Vaibhav Yashvir, Eshika Dey, Vinod Suryavanshi, Amit Sharma, Badrul Islam, and Deekshha Sonalkar Tham in pivotal roles.

The trailer introduces the town of Chhand, where Hemant Kumar (Bhuvan), a committed cop, is drawn into a chilling web of crime. A headless corpse, missing gold, and a vanished man shake the fragile peace of the town, forcing Hemant to grapple not only with a dangerous investigation but also with the systemic bias and personal struggles weighing on him, as he belongs to an oppressed caste community. At one point, a woman lashes out at him for touching her and passes off a vile casteist remark. Hemant’s wife is pregnant and he is soon to be a father. The trailer shows many sequences where he is seen cruelly beating up suspects in order to get information out of them, becoming part of the violence which he is investigating.

Speaking about the show, Bhuvan said, “Janaawar - The Beast Within is the kind of story that tests you not just as an actor, but as a human being. Playing Hemant Kumar was emotionally demanding because he carries so many battles like his duty, his identity, his family, and his inner demons. The trailer gives audiences just a glimpse of the intensity and scale of the world we’ve built, and I can’t wait for the audience to discover the layers of Hemant’s journey through the story.”

Talking about the show earlier in a press release, Shachindra said, "It was never just about making a crime thriller. It was about giving a voice to the struggles, hopes, and dignity of people who often go unheard. Working with ZEE5 has been a wonderful experience because they understood the vision and the sensitivity the story needed."

Produced by Aarambh Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, Janaawar is set to be released on ZEE5 on September 26.
