Soha Ali Khan recently revealed in an interview that her husband, actor Kunal Kemmu had to fight with a thief who broke into their house late at night and handed him over to police. Soha said that the intruder fell from the balcony during the tussle.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Soha said, “In Mumbai, our house was broken into. Not bhai’s, my own house was broken into. Kunal caught the thief and took him to jail. The thief was in our bedroom. It was 4 am, and we were sleeping. We heard a sound. Kunal’s hand was in a cast as he had hurt his fingers during the shooting of Go Goa Gone.”

Soha added, “Kunal got up to see, and when he pulled up the curtain, wahan par ek pura aadmi khada tha (there was a full-grown man standing there). Kunal kicked him, and they both fell onto the balcony. I called the police. When Kunal came back inside, he said, ‘I think he’s dead.’ So that man actually fell from the balcony, and he was not dead, but he hurt his back, so he was lying on the floor.”

Earlier this year, Soha’s brother, Saif Ali Khan’s house was intruded by a person late in the night and the actor got gravely injured while battling the intruder. He was hospitalised soon after and was treated for his injuries.

On the work front, Soha was recently seen in the supernatural-horror thriller, Chhorii 2, where she played a negative role. She is set to collaborate with R Madhavan for her next film.

Kunal made his directorial debut with the comedy-drama, Madgaon Express last year, which starred Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu and Avinash Tiwary in the lead.
